Mikel Arteta warne Arsenal are set to make £51 million transfer mistake

William Gallas has confesse he is struggling to make sense of Arsenal’s decision to sanction the signing of Martin Zubimendi.
The Gunners are understood to have สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที ringfence £51 million ahead of. Te summer window in order to sign the Spain international midfielder.
Zubimendi is a player who has earmarke by Mikel Arteta to compliment the likes of Martin Odegaard and. Declan Rice as well as offset the likely departures of Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
‘We have certain situations with contracts expiring,’ said Arteta, speaking ahead a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa earlier this month.
We can renew those contracts like we have done in the past. Are always actively evolving the squad and understanding what the players want to do when. They finish our contract together, and we have to be prepare.’
While Arsenal appear to making logical plans for the long-term future, Gallas has questioned the wisdom of the Zubimendi deal while in the short-term it is the attack that is in desperate need of reinforcing.
Manchester City appear to have made a shrewd addition to their forward line in the shape of Omar Marmoush, who made an eye-catching debut against Chelsea last weekend, while Chelsea, Aston Villa and Manchester United are all looking to increase their firepower before the window shuts.
‘I can’t understand why Arsenal are signing Martín Zubimendi, they have so many midfielders and that should not have been the priority,’ Gallas told.‘They need a striker and possibly a central defender.
‘William Saliba is out injured and Jurrien Timber has to play at centre-back with Thomas Partey at right-back, their transfer business has left me very confused.
‘Maybe Mikel Arteta should be aske that question about why they didn’t sign Marmoush.
‘I don’t see many journalists asking Arteta why they haven’t signed a striker. Maybe they are worrie about being banne from press conferences.’
Arsenal’s struggles in the final third this season have, in part, been down to Martin Odegaard failing to find his best form.
The club captain missed two months of the season after sustaining ankle ligament damage and has since scored just once from open play.
While Gallas remains an admirer of the Norway international, he believes Odegaard would benefit from a decision to bring back club legend Dennis Bergkamp in a coaching capacity.
